Errol Campbell
Errol originally coached the Carribean Davis Cup team until the ITF split it into sections. He then coached the Jamaican Davis Cup team. Errol was a prodigy of former Australian Davis Cup coach, Harry Hopman and played the USTA Satellite Tour. Errol also coached Noel Rutherford, the #4 junior in the world and Roger Smith, most famous for defeating Ivan Lendl at the 1994 U.S open. Tournament-level players beware!

Basil Thompson
Basil has been teaching tennis at Midtown for thirteen years.
Basil was raised in Montego Bay where he taught alongside Harry Hopman and Don Budge. He was the director of the All-American Sports Camp in Vermont before arriving in New York.
Basil has high hopes for his students this year.

Hayden Ashton
Hayden is a USPTA Certified Professional who has been teaching at Midtown for many years. Hayden was the national junior and senior champion in Grenada and Windward Islands. He was also the Windward Islands national junior coach. Hayden is excited about leading the Challengers through a great season.

Miguel Astorga
Miguel Astorga is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional from Santiago, Chile and has been at Midtown since 2006. Miquel specializes in junior development and all levels of adults. Miguel has accumulated teaching and professional experience as an instructor for various ATP resorts in Mexico, Cuba and the Bahamas. Additionally, Miquel is our stringer and can answer all your questions about racquet restringing!

Paul Rose
Paul began his tennis career in Montego Bay, Jamaica where he was appointed to head the western region junior tennis program.
Paul is certified by both the International Tennis Federation and the International Olympic Committee.
Paul looks forward to another successful season with his juniors and adults.

Jarett Cascino
Jarette is Minnesota native, with success as a Junior in the Northern Section, winning two Minnesota State Doubles Championships and finishing his high school career as the Minnesota State Singles Champion. He went on to play Division 1 Men's Tennis at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and was also the Assistant Tennis Coach. Jarett is a USPTA certified professional and has coached tennis in Minnesota, Wisconsin, the International Tennis Academy in Florida, and was the Head Tennis Professional at the Deal Casino in Deal, NJ.

Tyler Dorn
Tyler joined Midtown in 2010 and enjoys improving the games of 
players of all ages and levels.  He is a USPTA certified tennis professional and has been playing and teaching tennis in Wisconsin, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. Tyler was a nationally ranked junior and achieved All State Singles Champion in Wisconsin for three consecutive years.  He also played Division 1 tennis at the University of Wisconsin as # 1 singles where he achieved All Conference twice. 

Shara Miller
Shara hails from new England, where she was a regionally ranked junior player with national tournament experience. Shara played for Harvard University for two seasons as well as ran indoor and outdoor track. While pursuing her dentistry degree at NYU, Shara is fufilling her tennis passion by continuing to reach part-time at Midtown. She has been teaching private and group lessons since the age of 17 and has run her own tennis camp in New England for juniors and adults.
