Booking a Lesson

1. Dial 212-989-8572 and press Extension 1 to reserve a private lesson.

2. If you are a new player to Midtown Tennis, you must provide valid credit card information
over the phone to our reservation desk.

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy on all hourly court reservations.
Late cancellations will be charged in full.

Meet The Pros

Errol Campbell

Errol originally coached the Carribean Davis Cup team until the ITF split it into sections. He then coached the Jamaican Davis Cup team. Errol was a prodigy of former Australian Davis Cup coach, Harry Hopman and played the USTA Satellite Tour. Errol also coached Noel Rutherford, the #4 junior in the world and Roger Smith, who was most famous for defeating Ivan Lendl at the 1994 U.S open. Tournament-level players beware!

Basil Thompson

Basil has been teaching tennis at Midtown for thirteen years. Basil was raised in Montego Bay where he taught alongside Harry Hopman and Don Budge. He was the director of the All-American Sports Camp in Vermont before arriving in New York. Basil has high hopes for his students this year.

 

Hayden Ashton

Hayden is a USPTA Certified Professional who has been teaching at Midtown for many years. Hayden was the national junior and senior champion in Grenada and Windward Islands. He was also the Windward Islands national junior coach. Hayden is excited about leading the Challengers through a great season.

Paul Rose

Paul began his tennis career in Montego Bay, Jamaica where he was appointed to head the western region junior tennis program. Paul is certified by both the International Tennis Federation and the International Olympic Committee. Paul looks forward to another successful season with his juniors and adults.

Tate Rubinstein

Tate Rubinstein grew up in Woodstock, New York and went on to play tennis for Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. In 2002, Tate was voted the Greater New England Conference Player of the Year. After finishing University,
Tate became a USPTR Certified Tennis Professional and spent summers working at Total Tennis. Tate now lives in New York City and has joined the team at Midtown!
